Detailed steps to make Affogato
Prepare the ingredients for vanilla ice cream.
Add granulated sugar to the egg yolks and beat with an egg beater until pale and doubled in volume.
Add milk powder to the milk and heat it in a water bath to 60 degrees. Then pour it into the egg yolk mixture from step 2 and mix well.
Add cornstarch and vanilla powder and mix well.
Continue to heat in a water bath, stirring until it becomes a paste. Then pour it into a container and freeze for 1 hour.
Whip the whipping cream until it is 60% whipped and has visible patterns. Add the frozen egg yolk mixture.
Then use an electric mixer to beat them until they are airy.
Then pour it into a container, cover it, and freeze it in the refrigerator for several hours. Stir it every 2 hours.
