Peach Gum
Soak in water for more than 12 hours. After soaking, it becomes crystal clear.
Then pick out impurities.
The impurities have been removed.
Then break it into very small pieces by hand. If not broken, many hard pieces will not be stewed and will affect the taste.
After breaking, add a little water. Do not add too much, just enough to cover the peach gum. Because the peach gum does not need to be stewed for too long, too much water is not good for taste.
Turn on high heat.
After the water boils, turn to low heat and stew for 10-15 minutes.
Note – Stir constantly during the stewing process, otherwise it will stick to the pot.
One important thing to mention again is that it will really stick to the pot if not stirred constantly.
Add some rock sugar, not too much, just a little bit sweet.
I stewed it for only 10 minutes, and it looks very beautiful. After patiently waiting for it to cool down, put it in a cup and add yogurt.
