Steps to Make Apple Rose Pastry
Wash and core the apple, then slice it thinly.
Boil some water, add sugar and lemon juice to it.
Add the apple slices, turn off the heat, and cover the pot to let it simmer for a while.
When the apple slices become soft, drain the water and set them aside.
Soften the butter at room temperature and add powdered sugar to it.
Add the egg and low-gluten flour to the mixture and mix well.
Knead the mixture into a dough and divide it into 5 equal parts.
Roll each part into a long strip.
Flatten and roll out each strip, then place 7-8 apple slices on it (try to place them in the middle of the dough and layer them on top of each other).
Fold the bottom part of the dough up to cover the apple slices.
Roll the dough from one end to the other to form a rose shape, then place it in a mold.
Repeat the process for the remaining dough, then place them on a baking sheet.
Preheat the oven, then bake the pastries at 200°C (392°F) for 25 minutes until the petals are slightly dry.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve.
