Artemisia Red Bean Bun Cooking Steps
Place the pre-ferment ingredients in the bread machine (100g high gluten flour, 130g water, 4g yeast), mix well, ferment until doubled in size, then add the remaining high gluten flour, artemisia powder, sugar, salt, and egg.
Knead the dough and add olive oil.
After the oil is fully absorbed by the dough, add honey red beans.
Mix all ingredients evenly.
Ferment until 2.5 times in size.
Deflate the dough and divide into 6 portions.
Roll each portion of dough into a square shape.
Roll up half of the dough.
Cut several strips on the unrolled dough.
Place the strip of dough on top of the rolled dough, tuck the edges underneath, and slightly curve the dough.
Let it ferment until doubled in size in a baking pan.
Bake at 175 degrees Celsius for 18 minutes, then remove from the oven.
Brush honey on each bun, let cool, and enjoy.
