Choose plump sweet potatoes. I bought Shandong sweet potatoes directly from a community group-buying platform. There are several types of sweet potatoes available in the market, all of which are delicious.
Place the sweet potatoes in water to wash off the sand from the skin.
Place in the oven to bake, with the sugar imprint left by the freshly baked sweet potatoes in the oven.
Set the temperature to the highest setting, choose the upper heat baking option, and bake for 30 minutes. Depending on the functionality of each oven, if using a small oven, set to the highest temperature and baking time can be extended accordingly.
