Detailed Steps for Making Bear Cookies
Weigh all the ingredients and set aside;
Soften the butter at room temperature, add icing sugar (or fine granulated sugar) and beat until fluffy;
Beat the egg liquid and add it to the mixture;
Add the egg liquid in 3 portions, stirring until fully dissolved each time;
Sift in the high-gluten flour and mix evenly with a rubber spatula;
Use a rubber spatula to mix (step 4) into a dough that is uniform and free of dry flour, cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 20 minutes;
Sprinkle a little dry flour or cover with plastic wrap on the cutting board, roll the dough into a thin sheet about 2mm thick with a rolling pin;
Press the dough with a bear cookie mold to form the shape; (After pressing the shape, re-integrate the remaining dough and roll it into a thin sheet again);
Carefully remove the excess dough around the edges, then use a scraper to remove the bears and place them on a baking sheet, using black sesame seeds to make the eyes and mouth;
Place the baking sheet in the middle of a preheated oven with upper heat at 170 degrees and lower heat at 140 degrees, and bake for about 10 minutes;
When the surface and bottom of the cookies are evenly browned, they are ready to be served!
