Light soy sauce: 2 tablespoons; Baking soda: 1/4 teaspoon; Ground pepper: 2/3 teaspoon; Cornstarch: 1/2 teaspoon; Cooking oil: 1 teaspoon; Salt: to taste; Sesame oil: 1 teaspoon.

Slice the beef, place it in a container, add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1/3 teaspoon of ground pepper, mix well. Add 1 tablespoon of water, mix, then add another tablespoon of water, mix until water is absorbed. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch, mix well, add 1 teaspoon of cooking oil, mix again. Cover the container and refrigerate overnight. When ready to cook, shred the lettuce, chop the spring onion, shred the ginger, and cook the white congee;
