Detailed Steps to Make Beef and Lettuce Congee
Marinate beef slices with 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce, 1/4 tsp ground pepper, 1 tsp cornstarch, mix well, then add 1 tsp cooking oil, mix well again, and let it sit for 20 minutes; steps two, three, four.
Place a small pot on the stove, turn on high heat, and pour in the white congee.
Bring the congee to a boil, add ginger shreds and chopped scallions.
