Pixian Douban (broad bean paste from Pixian): 2 tablespoons; Garlic: appropriate amount.

Steps for Cooking Beef with Enoki Mushrooms
Take the beef slices out of the refrigerator in advance to thaw, and wash the enoki mushrooms and cut off the root.
Chop the garlic into minced pieces.
Heat the oil in a pan, add the minced garlic and stir-fry.
Add the Pixian Douban, stir-fry over medium-low heat until the oil turns red.
Add an appropriate amount of hot water, bring to a boil, and add the enoki mushrooms. Cook until they become soft and tender.
Add the beef slices and quickly stir them with chopsticks to let them spread out in the soup.
After cooking for one minute until the beef changes color, turn off the heat. Sprinkle with scallions and serve.
