Steps for Cooking Black Sesame Peanut Candy
Wash and stir-fry the black sesame seeds, soak the peanuts in boiling water for two minutes to remove the skin, and then bake them at 120°C for 30 minutes until fragrant but not discolored. Mix the sesame seeds, peanuts, and salt together and mix well.
Put the rock sugar in a clean iron pan and melt it over low heat without adding oil or water. Keep stirring until it melts into a liquid. The color may be slightly darker, but be careful not to burn it, as it will become bitter. So, be sure to use low heat.
Mix the dry ingredients into the melted sugar, spread it between two sheets of tin foil, and press it flat with a rolling pin. Cut it into small pieces and let it cool.
