Steps to Make Black Sesame Puppy Buns
Prepare the ingredients
Add yeast, spinach juice, and cocoa powder to the flour and knead into two types of dough for fermentation. Only a small piece of cocoa dough is needed.
While waiting for the dough to ferment, roast the black sesame seeds until fragrant (skip this step if using pre-roasted sesame seeds).
Use a food processor to grind the sesame seeds into powder, then mix with sugar and butter to make the black sesame filling.
Roll the black sesame filling into small balls.
The fermented dough
Divide the green dough into small portions and knead into balls.
Wrap the black sesame filling with the green dough.
Seal the edges and shape into an oval.
Use cocoa dough to make the puppy ears, eyes, and nose.
