Detailed Steps for Making Butterfly Two-Tone Steamed Buns
Dissolve a small amount of yeast, add it to 300g of flour, then add the remaining water, knead into a smooth dough, take half of the dough and add colored fruit jam powder.
Knead into a pink dough.
After the pink and white doughs have fermented for fifteen minutes, roll them out into rectangular sheets. Use a mold to press a pattern on one-third of the outer layer of the sheet (do not break it), then use the mold to cut out the same pattern on the other colored sheet and place it on the pattern.
Roll it up and gently roll it flat.
Cut with a knife.
This is the butterfly pattern.
Add water to a pot, place the shaped buns in a container, let them ferment for about 20 minutes, then steam them in boiling water for 15 minutes.
Looks pretty cute, right?
