Detailed Steps for Making Cake Base
Take a large bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and gelatin powder, mix well.
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, add oil, egg yolks, and water in order.
In another bowl, add egg whites and cream of tartar.
Use an electric mixer to beat the egg whites on high speed until stiff peaks form.
Fold the flour mixture evenly.
Add the egg whites in three parts, gently fold in after each addition.
Pour the batter into a six-inch baking pan. I lined my cake pan with foil.
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius, bake for about 40 to 45 minutes. Invert and cool the cake before removing from the pan.
