Detailed Steps for Cooking Cantonese Style Beef Ribs
In a bowl, mix Chu Hou paste 1/2 tbsp, Soy sauce paste 1/2 tbsp, Oyster sauce 1/2 tbsp, Salt 1/4 tsp, Brandy 1 tbsp, Pepper 1/2 tsp, Water 2 tbsp until well combined.
Add the beef ribs, make a few cuts in the thick parts for better flavor absorption, then marinate thoroughly.
Add dried onion flakes, use a knife or skewer to insert them into the meat, focusing on the thicker parts, marinate again to allow the flavors to fully absorb.
Add cornstarch 1/2 tbsp, mix well, place in a sealed bag or storage container, refrigerate overnight.
Wrap each rib in foil, place in an air fryer, set to 400°F, 30 minutes, remove the smaller ribs first, continue roasting the larger ones for an additional 10 minutes, ensuring the ribs are cooked through but not overdone.
