Detailed Steps for Cooking Carrot and Pig Liver Congee
Prepare the ingredients: pig liver (chopped), soak the pig liver in clean water for half an hour in advance, carrot (chopped), white congee, ginger shreds, chopped green onion (just for decoration, not for baby to eat), a little salt (baby’s food should be light, just a little salt is enough, forgot to take pictures while cooking).
Bring the white congee to a boil in a clay pot, add ginger shreds and chopped carrots, cook for 5 minutes. Cook the carrots until soft. Then add the chopped pig liver and cook until the pig liver is fully cooked. Stir frequently while cooking to prevent sticking to the pot. Once cooked, add a little salt, transfer to small bowls, sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve.
