Soak the chenpi and green beans separately in clean water for 15 minutes each. Then wash the chenpi, and cut it into shreds.
Put the shredded chenpi in the water with green beans and cook together. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for a total of 45 minutes.
Take out the prepared brown sugar block for making syrup, break it in half, and put it in the water to cook for five minutes until dissolved. Then, it’s ready in a total of one hour.
