Steps for making Chiffon Cake
Ingredients
Whisk 2 egg yolks with 15g granulated sugar and vanilla powder
Mix well
Add corn oil and mix well
Add milk and mix well
Sift in cake flour and baking powder mixture
Mix evenly in an irregular direction to form a batter
Mix cream of tartar with the remaining granulated sugar
Whisk 2 egg whites into coarse foam and add one-third of the sugar
Whisk until the foam is fine and add another one-third of the sugar
Whisk until the foam is thick and creamy, then add the remaining sugar
Finally, whisk until the foam forms a hook and is 90% stiff
Scoop one-third of the egg white into the egg yolk batter and mix well
Mix well
Add the remaining egg white and mix well
Mix well
Pour into a 6-inch round mold
Place in the oven, middle and lower layers, 170 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes, then 150 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes
Take out of the oven and invert to cool
It has bloomed and shrunk
Remove from the mold
