Cook the spiral pasta until 70% done: If the suggested cooking time on the package is 10 minutes, then cook for 7 minutes, turn off the heat, and let it soak in the water. Add oil to the pot, fry the garlic until fragrant over high heat.

After the garlic turns golden brown, turn to low heat and carefully pour in the cleaned clams (be careful not to be splashed by the hot oil). Add seasoning sauce and water in a ratio of 1:3. If there is no seasoning sauce, it can be replaced with cooking wine and sugar. Cover the pot, turn up the heat and cook the clams until they open. The clams I bought were relatively small and all opened within 1 minute after the water boiled.

When the spiral pasta is cooked through, turn off the heat. The spiral pasta has fully absorbed the clam water and is moderately soft and hard. Finally, add green peas (previously cooked, just heat them up) and the previously cooked clams.
