Steps for Cooking Clay Pot Tofu Stew
Prepare the ingredients.
Cut the tofu into small pieces. If desired, blanch it to remove the bean smell.
Cut the shiitake mushrooms and portobello mushrooms into small pieces.
Heat the oil in a pan, add scallions and Thai sweet chili sauce. Stir-fry for a while.
Add the shiitake mushrooms and portobello mushrooms, stir-fry for a while.
Add the tofu and mix gently.
Add about 300g of water.
Bring to a boil, then transfer to a clay pot. Stew over medium-low heat for about 8 minutes. The longer it stews, the more flavorful it becomes.
Serve with some scallions and additional sauce, if desired.
