Detailed Steps for Cooking Cocoa-filled Little Qifus
Prepare and weigh the ingredients in advance.
Preheat the Qifu biscuits in the oven.
Melt the butter in a non-stick pan over low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir slowly over low heat.
Cut large marshmallows in half to shorten the melting time.
Completely melt the marshmallows (in cold weather, the sugar may harden quickly, so the shorter the cooking time, the better).
Remove from heat and immediately add milk powder (I move the pan from the stove to the countertop as the stove retains heat).
Mix well.
Place half of the sugar in a bowl with cocoa powder (matcha powder can also be used).
Mix well with gloves on.
You can use PVC gloves to roll a piece into a ball and place it on a biscuit.
Press another biscuit on top.
Quickly sandwich the filling.
Do not heat the filling for too long, or it will harden more as it cools.
You can caramelize the sugar in a pot to make multiple flavors at once.
Finished product.
Store in a sealed container. If it hardens, you can microwave it for a few seconds to soften.
