Steps to Make Coconut Milk Jelly with Flower Shape
Prepare a square container (I used a 20cm*20cm square baking pan), wet it slightly, and cover it with heat-resistant plastic wrap.
Spread a layer of desiccated coconut.
Put corn starch in a small bowl.
Add 1/3 of the milk to the corn starch and stir well with chopsticks.
Put the whipping cream, remaining milk, and sugar in a saucepan.
Cook over low heat until the milk mixture bubbles at the edge, then pour in the corn starch milk mixture and stir continuously with chopsticks.
The mixture will become thicker and thicker. When there are obvious lines when the chopsticks are drawn across the mixture, stop heating. Continue to stir with chopsticks for about a minute after removing from heat.
Pour the mixture into the prepared square baking pan and spread a layer of desiccated coconut on the surface. After cooling, cover with a large food bag, seal it, and refrigerate overnight until the mixture solidifies into a milk block.
Cut the milk block into heart shapes with a heart-shaped mold and arrange them into flower shapes, garnished with dried rose petals.
