Step-by-Step Guide to Making Cordyceps Flower Chicken Soup
Clean and cut the black-bone chicken into large pieces. Boil in water over high heat for 1-2 minutes to remove impurities.
Remove the chicken pieces and rinse with warm water.
Place the chicken pieces in a stew pot, add enough water and green onions and ginger. Bring to a boil, then simmer with the lid on until the chicken is 70-80% cooked.
Remove fat from the ham and cut into small pieces. Use about 10 pieces per serving.
Place the ham and some slices of cordyceps flower in a stewing bowl.
Take some chicken pieces and the original chicken broth, and add them to the stewing bowl.
Add salt and a few goji berries.
Once the steamer is hot, place the stewing bowl in the steamer, cover with the bowl lid, then cover with the steamer lid. Stew over high heat for about 30 minutes, and it’s ready to serve.
