Cotton Candy Walnut Sesame Candy Cooking Steps
Roast the peanuts and walnuts separately and remove the red skin. Weigh and mix them together (the ratio of peanuts to walnuts can be adjusted according to personal taste, between 250-300g).
Weigh 300g of cotton candy and set aside.
Melt 50g of lard in a pot over low heat. Butter can also be used if there is no lard at home. Because black sesame goes well with lard, I chose lard instead of other oils.
Weigh 180g of sesame powder and set aside.
Pour the cotton candy into the melted lard and slowly cook the cotton candy over low heat.
When the cotton candy becomes a soft liquid, pour in the black sesame powder and quickly stir until well mixed.
Pour the walnuts and peanuts into the black sesame candy liquid and quickly stir until well mixed. Be sure to complete the stirring before the candy liquid cools and hardens.
Pour the mixed mixture into a mold lined with oil paper, then cover with oil paper and press into shape with a rectangular lunch box (this step requires quick operation, so there are no photos).
After cooling, cut into small pieces with a knife.
