Weigh the ingredients

Soften the butter and mix with powdered sugar

Cut the larger cranberries into smaller pieces

Mix the butter and sugar mixture

Add beaten egg and continue mixing

Add cranberries

Sift in the all-purpose flour and mix

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and shape into a long strip, freeze for 1 hour

Remove from the freezer and cut into 0.5cm slices, remove the plastic wrap and place on a baking sheet

Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes until golden brown
