Detailed Steps for Cooking Crispy Steamed Bun Slices
Cut the old steamed buns into slices about one centimeter thick.
Prepare a bowl of water, dip the sliced buns here before frying, which can reduce the oil absorption of the buns (it should also taste good if replaced with milk).
Add some salt to the beaten eggs for flavor, then roll the water-dipped bun slices in the egg mixture.
Fry the egg-coated bun slices in hot oil to remove moisture slowly, usually fry until both sides are golden brown.
Drain the oil and serve on a plate, it’s also a great nutritious breakfast with cucumber and cold soy milk! The oil used for frying the buns and the leftover egg mixture were not wasted, as I made a tomato egg soup ^_^
