Steps to Make Curry Beef Puffs
Prepare the beef filling. Dice the onion, mince the garlic, ginger, and chop the spring onion.
Heat a pan, add olive oil, sauté garlic, ginger, spring onion, and onion until fragrant.
Add ground beef, stir-fry until browned.
Add sugar, curry powder, pepper, salt, water, stir-fry briefly. Then add flour, stir until dry, the curry beef filling is ready.
Prepare the puff pastry according to the instructions. Roll out the pastry to 0.3cm thickness. Cut out round pieces with a diameter of 8cm. You can make a total of 12 pieces.
Take a piece of pastry, place a portion of curry beef filling in the center. Brush beaten egg along the edges as a binder.
Fold the pastry over to form a dumpling shape as shown. Pinch the edges tightly.
Seal all the pastry puffs, brush the surface with beaten egg. Let it rest for 25 minutes. Preheat the oven to 220°C, brush the surface of the rested puffs with beaten egg again, place on the middle rack, bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
