Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions for Cute and Delicious – Piggy Fruit Buns
Dissolve dry yeast in warm milk, pour into flour, knead into a smooth dough, and knead for a while.
Cover with plastic wrap and let it ferment until doubled in size.
Cut the apple and pear into small dice, add corn kernels, white sugar, and brown sugar, mix well.
Take a piece of dough about the size of a quail egg, add 1 drop of pink food coloring, and knead evenly.
After kneading the remaining dough until smooth, divide it into six equal parts.
Take one portion, roll it out slightly, and add an appropriate amount of fruit filling.
Shape it into a bun, pinch the edges tightly.
With the pinched side down, shape it into an oval for the pig’s body.
Take a small amount of pink dough, shape it into two droplets, an oval, and a long tail-like piece.
Gently flatten the two droplet-shaped pieces and the oval-shaped piece.
Dampen the larger end of the droplet-shaped pieces slightly, stick them on the front of the pig’s body as ears, and attach the oval piece as the pig’s mouth.
Roll the tail piece and stick it to the pig’s rear.
Use a toothpick to make two small holes on the oval piece, stick sesame seeds on as the pig’s eyes. Your pig bun is now complete.
Repeat the process for all the pig buns, let them rise again until round, steam over high heat for fifteen minutes, then let them sit for five minutes before serving.
