Steps to Cook Dai Style Baked Tofu
After washing the ingredients, chop the scallions, finely chop the cilantro, and mince the ginger, garlic, and bird’s eye chili separately.
Place the chopped ingredients in a large bowl, add a spoonful of soy sauce, a little salt, and a bit of MSG, mix well.
Take a piece of marinated tofu, slowly slice it into two connected slices from one end.
Lift the top slice of tofu, spoon some of the mixed ingredients onto the bottom slice of tofu and spread it out.
Wrap the tofu pieces with lemongrass.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, place the wrapped tofu pieces on it and bake in the oven for twenty minutes.
Halfway through, take out the tofu pieces and brush a layer of oil on both sides.
Five minutes before finishing, take out the tofu pieces, apply some BBQ Spicy Powder on both sides, and bake for a while before serving.
