Detailed Steps for Making Dark Chocolate Baked Oatmeal
Take a bowl, add 40g of dark chocolate with two tablespoons of warm water.
Place another bowl underneath, fill it with hot water, melt the chocolate in a double boiler, or microwave for about 20-30 seconds.
Add two tablespoons of water, then pour in the oats.
Stir the oats with the chocolate water until well combined.
Crack an egg into the mixture and stir well.
After stirring.
Sprinkle raisins on the surface, add some sesame seeds, or if preferred, some nuts. Let it sit for ten minutes to absorb the moisture.
Microwave on high for three minutes. If you like it drier and slightly crispy, you can extend it to five minutes to remove excess moisture.
Time’s up! When serving, drizzle with a teaspoon of honey. It’s recommended not to heat the honey to preserve its nutrients.
No need to worry about the bitterness of dark chocolate, the honey and raisins have already masked the bitterness.
Personally, I think it tastes better a bit drier.
