Detailed Steps for Making Doraemon Handmade Cookies
Weigh the ingredients for the cookie dough.
Prepare chocolate, food coloring, and vanilla powder. You can omit the vanilla powder if you don’t have it.
Soften the butter and mix it with sugar.
Beat until the color becomes lighter and the texture becomes fluffy and feather-like.
Sift in the flour, add egg white and vanilla powder.
Use a scraper to mix into a dough.
Knead the dough into different colors: 90g, 45g, and 15g of white dough; 120g of blue dough and 3 pieces of 15g blue dough; 1 piece of 15g red dough.
Roll the 45g white dough into a 20cm long strip, flatten it, and make a horizontal groove in the middle.
Roll the red dough into a 20cm long round strip and put it in the groove. This is Doraemon’s nose.
Use two 15g white dough to make a 20cm long round strip and place them on top of the red strip. These are Doraemon’s eyes.
Roll the 90g white dough into a 20cm thick slice.
Move the body to the white slice, and wrap the sides up.
Roll the three 15g blue dough into 20cm long round strips and fill them in the gaps around the eyes.
Finally, roll the 120g blue dough into a slightly larger piece than the body.
Place it on top of the body and connect it to the white slice underneath.
Wrap it in plastic wrap and freeze it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Take it out and cut it into pieces no more than 1cm thick, and place them on a baking sheet.
Preheat the oven to 180°C for 5 minutes, with both upper and lower heat, and place the baking sheet in the middle. After that, change the temperature to 160°C and bake for 15 minutes.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
When the baked cookies are cool, use chocolate and toothpicks to draw Doraemon’s expression.
Forever Doraemon.
