Proofed dough
Knead the dough evenly
Pinch into small dough balls, no need to roll with a rolling pin, press into a flat dough with hands. Knead a few times until the surface is smoother.
Pre-made bean paste balls, you can make extra and freeze them in the refrigerator
Place the bean paste in the middle of the dough, seal, and then knead into a round shape
Once all are wrapped, let them sit for a while
Dampen the steamer cloth, place the Dou Bao on top, leaving space between them as they will expand when steamed
Once the water is boiling, place the steamer on top, cover, and set a timer for 15 minutes
Once done, turn off the heat, remove the Dou Bao, and let them cool
