Two slices of ginger.
Shred the carrot. The white congee was cooked the night before. The next morning, add carrot shreds, ginger slices, and water to the congee. Boil for five minutes after the congee boils, add a little water because it has been sitting overnight and may be thick.
Shred the ham and add it to the congee after boiling for five minutes.
Prepare a flat pan, whisk two eggs and pour into the pan. Fry on medium heat to make an egg crepe. Cut the egg crepe into strips and set aside.
