Dragon Fruit Sakura Mousse Cooking Steps
Prepare ingredients, soften gelatin sheets in cold water, soak and drain Sakura with salt for later use
Melt 1.5 gelatin sheets in milk over hot water, add sugar and set aside
Peel and juice the dragon fruit, strain to remove impurities, reserve some juice for mirror glaze
Mix cooled dragon fruit juice with milk mixture
Whip whipping cream until 70% stiff peaks
Line the bottom of a pie dish with aluminum foil
Pour the juice slowly into the whipped cream and mix to form a smooth mousse mixture
Pour the mousse mixture into the pie dish, fill it 80% full, leaving space for the mirror glaze. Apologies for missing the photo of this step! Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Melt the remaining 0.5 gelatin sheet in hot water, let it cool slightly, then evenly pour it over the chilled mousse. Decorate with Sakura and refrigerate overnight for best results
The pie dish with a removable bottom makes it easy to unmold, presenting a lovely heart-shaped dessert!
