Detailed steps for making Egg and Ham Sandwich
Ingredients needed: Salted square bread, lettuce leaves (I chose a few smaller ones, which are more tender. Wash and shake off the water, control the water), tomatoes (wash and slice), one egg, and one ham sandwich.
Put a little oil in the pan, crack the egg in, and flip it over when the bottom is slightly browned. Everyone should know how to fry an egg.
After frying the egg, slice the ham. Don’t cut it too thick. The thickness of one-third of the bread slice is enough. Then, use scissors to trim the remaining oil from the egg in the pan and trim the ham a little. This will make the texture better.
Done. Hahaha.
First layer. Spread Thousand Island dressing on the bread. Spread it evenly, including the corners of the bread.
This is the sauce. I don’t know if you like this taste too.
Spread it evenly.
Spread fresh lettuce on top. The green color is so beautiful.
I spread a few more Thousand Island dressings on the lettuce. If you don’t like too much sauce, you can skip this step.
Place tomato slices on top of the lettuce. Note! If you are taking the sandwich out, do not put tomato slices, you can replace them with cucumber slices. Because tomatoes are easy to release juice. I used tomatoes because I ate it immediately.
Take another slice of bread. Spread the sauce and place it with the sauce side down.
That’s it.
Spread Thousand Island dressing on the bread again.
Lay the ham on top.
Place the fried egg on top of the ham.
Take another slice of bread. Spread the sauce and place it with the sauce side down.
Remember to press it with your hand, so that it won’t fall apart when you cut it.
Then cut it diagonally. Because I ate it myself, I didn’t cut off the bread edges. If you want to give it as a gift, you can cut off the bread edges before making it.
Take a look after cutting it. Doesn’t it look appetizing?
Pair it with a glass of milk or coffee. It’s really enjoying life every day.
That day was a weekend and I wanted to make something simple after sleeping in. So I paired it with milk and egg sweet soup. The taste is super good. Most importantly, we women should drink more of it, which is good for our health. Please also pay attention to my milk and egg sweet soup recipe.
