Steps to make Family-style Apple Pie Pancakes
Peel and core the apple, and cut it into small cubes;
Add about 5g of butter;
Wait until it melts slightly, then add the diced apple and sauté until slightly soft;
Add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, stir until the sugar is completely dissolved, and set aside;
In a large bowl, beat 1 egg until well mixed, then add 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 4 tablespoons of milk, and 1/6 teaspoon of salt, and stir until well combined;
Place a frying pan on the stove over low heat, brush the pan with a layer of butter;
Pour in an appropriate amount of batter, and use a batter pusher to spread it evenly. If you don’t have a batter pusher, you can use the bottom of a large spoon to spread the batter evenly;
When the batter is almost solidified, place the filling on one side of the pancake;
Fold the side without filling over the side with filling to form a half-moon shape, and fry both sides until golden brown;
Fold it again into a quarter-circle shape, and fry both sides until golden brown. Repeat the process to make four pancakes, and arrange them on a plate;
In a small pot, pour in about 5-7g of butter, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder;
Cook over medium-low heat until the sugar is dissolved;
Pour the mixture evenly over the pancakes, and it looks like chocolate sauce.
