Detailed Steps for Cooking Family Version Tender Beef Five Ways
Cut the beef tenderloin into strips, marinate with black pepper (add more if desired), apple peel, and half a tablespoon of red wine for 15 minutes.
Remove the apple peel. Stir-fry in hot oil until the color changes (the beef I bought is very tender, so I prepared it this way. If you didn’t buy tenderloin, you may need to use meat tenderizer or your own method for tenderizing).
Sauté mushrooms in oil until slightly softened, then add the beef and stir-fry to your desired level of doneness.
Add one tablespoon of oyster sauce, three teaspoons of starch, one teaspoon of black pepper, and a little water. Mix well.
Pour the mixture over the beef and stir-fry until well combined.
Divide the dough into portions and make flatbreads (refer to my recipe for flatbread wraps). Heat a non-stick pan without oil, place the flatbread on it, do not flip, and remove when slightly hardened.
Wrap with lettuce and meat to form a pentagon shape, seal the edges with a little water, and place the sealed side down in the pan.
Flip when hardened and cook until both sides are done.
If you find making the pentagon shape too troublesome, just roll it up and enjoy!
