Steps for Cooking Finger-Licking Frozen Tofu
Prepare 2 pieces of older tofu.
Cut the tofu into 4 pieces with two horizontal and two vertical cuts, and then cut each piece into 3 thin slices of tofu.
Freeze the tofu in the refrigerator for one day.
Thaw the tofu and squeeze out excess water.
Take a bowl, mix 20g of New Orleans BBQ seasoning with 30g of water.
Put the frozen tofu into the seasoning mixture.
Coat the tofu evenly with the seasoning mixture and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Scald the bamboo skewers with boiling water.
Thread the marinated frozen tofu onto the bamboo skewers, with 4 pieces of tofu on every 2 skewers.
Place the skewered frozen tofu on a deep baking tray with a cooling rack, and brush the excess seasoning mixture onto the tofu.
Place the frozen tofu on the lower rack of a preheated oven, with the upper and lower heat set at 150°C and 160°C respectively, and bake for 10 minutes.
Wash and chop the scallions for later use.
After baking the frozen tofu for 5 minutes, turn it over and continue baking for another 5 minutes.
Sprinkle cumin powder and scallions on the baked frozen tofu.
