Detailed Cooking Steps for Flower Rolls ~ Three “Moods” in One Pot
Hehe, let’s start with a family photo, shall we? I love the sweet condensed milk flavor in the flower rolls, and the ones with black sesame seeds, I treasure them so much, I can’t bear to eat them, just a few. Hehe
The dough rose nicely today, right? Friends who don’t know how to make dough can refer to the dough-making process in my Steamed Chive, Egg, and Dried Shrimp Buns, I won’t repeat it here.
Knead the risen dough well and divide it into three equally sized pieces.
Take a small piece of dough, knead it a few times, and roll it out into a thin sheet with a rolling pin. Remember to sprinkle some flour on the edges while rolling.
Prepare the seasoning oil. It includes sugar, condensed milk, and soybean oil, mix well with chopsticks.
Evenly brush the seasoned oil on the dough sheet.
Roll up the sheet from one side to form a roll.
Cut the long roll into medium-sized pieces, then slice each piece in the middle with a knife.
Align two halves with the cut side up, pinch them together with your thumb and index finger, slightly elongate them, and roll up the edges held by the thumbs and index fingers, pressing the overlapping parts together. (Hehe, it’s a bit tricky, can you understand? Haha)
It should look something like this, if you have a better method, let me know right away! Hehe
The sweet flower rolls are done, let them proof again on the side.
For the scallion oil flower rolls, the process is the same, I won’t go into details. I still have many dishes to put on the menu tonight! Hehe
Take a piece of dough, knead it a few times, make a hole in the middle, then gradually enlarge the hole by hand, shape it like this, then cut a slit with a knife and place one by one. Evenly.
Take a piece, roll it into a thin skin (remember not to roll the proofed dough too thick, it will expand after steaming), fill it with bean paste, and you can start wrapping.
Once they are all wrapped, you can steam them. My steamer at home has three layers, and today the number of members is just right, not one more, not one less, hehe.
Here, take a close look, haha.
How about that? It’s tough when you’re not in a good mood today!
Hehe, which flavor of flower rolls do you prefer? The important thing is that family members can make their choice! Hehe.
