Steps to Make French Toast
Prepare bread, ham, and cheese. Beat the egg and set aside.
Cut off the edges of the round ham slices and place them on one slice of bread.
Place the cheese slice on top of the ham.
Cut off the edges of the other slice of ham and place it on top of the cheese.
Place another slice of bread on top.
Cut off the edges of the bread (the cut-off edges can be dipped in the remaining egg mixture and fried in the pan for a delicious snack!).
Dip both sides of the sandwich in the egg mixture.
Fry both sides in a frying pan until golden brown.
Cut the sandwich into triangles, garnish with chopped celery, and serve.
