Steps for Cooking Fried Baguette
Cut off both ends of the baguette and slice it into 5-6cm wide pieces.
Maple Syrup
250ml milk, 2 eggs, 15ml maple syrup
Choose a baguette with a hard crust and good elasticity.
Choose a baguette that bounces back immediately when pressed with two fingers and has good elasticity. It won’t deform when cooked.
Put the sliced baguette into the mixed milk and let it absorb the milk quickly by flipping it over to the other side.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least half an hour.
The baguette has absorbed all the milk.
Put 5-10g of butter in the pan.
Put the baguette in the pan over low heat and cover it with a lid.
Take it out when both sides turn yellow.
Place it on a lid and sprinkle cinnamon powder on top.
Add a spoonful of maple syrup and a small piece of butter (or ice cream) to finish.
