Detailed Steps for Cooking Garlic Herb Shrimp
Prepare the ingredients. I used frozen shrimp, thawed and drained. Chop the garlic into small pieces and prepare Italian herb mix.
Preheat a pan with oil, sauté the garlic until fragrant. Sautéing garlic requires some skill – the oil temperature should not be too high when adding the garlic, and the process should not be done over high heat to avoid burning the garlic. The garlic should turn slightly golden and fragrant.
Add the shrimp and stir-fry. I used a non-stick pan with fast heat conduction, which requires less oil and is easy to operate. You can use a bit more oil for the shrimp, and after cooking the shrimp, you can use the oil to spread on bread.
The shrimp will quickly turn pink, season with salt.
Add the chopped herbs.
Stir-fry until well combined and then remove from heat. Overcooking the shrimp will affect the texture. Besides controlling the cooking time and heat, remove the pan from heat immediately to prevent residual heat from further cooking the ingredients.
Enjoy the shrimp with bread and a glass of milk for a perfect breakfast.
