Steps to Make Ge Hua Rice
Wash and dry the Ge Hua.
Mix the dried Ge Hua with salt and Five Spice Powder.
Add dry flour and mix well to keep the Ge Hua grains separate from each other.
Place a clean steaming cloth in the steamer and spread the Ge Hua on top.
Steam for 8-10 minutes.
Remove from the steamer, use chopsticks to separate the Ge Hua, and mix in the garlic paste. Ready to serve.
