Detailed Steps for Making Ginger and Pomelo Honey Tea
Remove the flesh of the pomelo, remove the seeds and white skin, and only use the pomelo flesh. You can also add the pomelo skin, but I didn’t add it here. If you add the pomelo skin, be sure to soak it in salt water for 2 hours before washing it and adding it to the pot to boil. If you only use the pomelo flesh like I did, just add it to the boiling water.
Boil a bowl of water in a pot, add the pomelo flesh, rock sugar, and ginger powder to the pot and boil.
Boil until there is no more liquid in the pot, and it’s done.
After it cools, put it in a container, add some honey on top, seal it, and put it in the refrigerator. When you want to drink it, take it out and mix two to three spoonfuls with hot or cold water.
