Buy grass jelly powder, mix with water and honey according to the instructions, cook while stirring until fully dissolved, let it cool, then refrigerate for about an hour until it solidifies into grass jelly (I poured it directly into pudding cups after melting).
Boil the sago pearls in boiling water for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then turn off the heat, cover and let it sit for 5 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water, preferably soaking in fresh milk.
Take the grass jelly out of the refrigerator, pour in fresh milk, add the sago pearls and some granulated sugar, and it’s ready to serve.
