Steps for cooking Green Honey Sunshine Sago
Peel and cut the pumpkin into pieces and steam for 20 minutes. I bought a pumpkin that weighed over 4 pounds and used about half of it. Peeling raw pumpkin can be a bit tiring, so you can handle it after steaming.
Rinse the sago with hot water and then with cold water. I’m a bit lazy, so I just alternated between hot and cold water from the tap after turning the gas water heater to the highest temperature.
Boil water and add the sago, cooking for 10-15 minutes. When it is almost transparent with a little bit of white inside, it is done.
Drain the hot water and soak the sago in ice water for a while. Because the sago still has residual heat after the hot water is drained, the water temperature will rise after adding ice water, so you need to change the water several times.
Peel the flesh of a bowl of oranges and set aside. Choose tasty oranges! (*^__^*)
Put the steamed pumpkin and orange flesh in a blender, add 300ml of fresh milk (about 1.5 cups).
Blend until smooth.
Serve in a bowl with sago. Squeeze the juice of a lime and add 1-2 tablespoons of honey. Squeeze the lime thoroughly so that one lime is enough for one bowl, and adjust the amount of honey according to personal taste. Add more if you like it sweeter.
