Steps to Make Green Vegetable and Pork Dumplings
Prepare the ingredients.
Soak the dried shiitake mushrooms in hot water until soft, then rinse with cold water and let them cool down.
Blanch the green vegetables in boiling water, then rinse with cold water and drain.
Chop the shiitake mushrooms, green vegetables, and spring onion into small pieces.
Add a little bit of the water used to soak the shiitake mushrooms to the ground pork and mix well in one direction. Gradually add the rest of the water, stirring constantly, until all the water is absorbed. Add the five spice powder, white pepper powder, light soy sauce, and dark soy sauce, and mix well. Finally, add the sesame oil and vegetable oil and mix well.
Add the chopped spring onion and shiitake mushrooms to the pork mixture and mix well.
Add the chopped green vegetables and mix well. Adjust the seasoning with salt when wrapping the dumplings.
Add water to the dumpling flour and knead into a dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
