Steps for Grilled Sticky Rice Lotus Root
Soak the sticky rice in water for two hours.
Wash the lotus root and do not peel it. Cut a small piece of “hat” at one end.
Stuff the sticky rice into the lotus root and use chopsticks to “fill” it while stuffing.
Fill it up and cover it with the “hat”. Cook it in a pot for one hour.
Cut the cooked grilled sticky rice lotus root into pieces.
Put it in the oven and grill both sides for 15 minutes each.
It is ready to serve.
