Step-by-Step Instructions for Making Guguhoff Bread in a Bread Machine
Add 105g of milk, 110g of whole egg liquid, 45g of sugar, 5g of salt, 300g of bread flour, and 1/3 of the butter into the bread machine, start the kneading process for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, add the yeast and another 1/3 of the butter, continue kneading for another 10 minutes.
Add the remaining 1/3 of the butter, knead for 15 more minutes.
Check the dough when there are 3 minutes left of kneading time.
Add the prepared rum-soaked raisins and continue kneading until finished.
Shape the dough into a round ball, place it in the bread machine, and set it to proof for 30 minutes.
Proofing is complete.
Deflate the dough, shape it into a round ball, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Roll out the dough into a circle.
Fold in one-third from the left and right, and press out the air inside.
Flatten the bottom, roll it up from the bottom to form a loaf.
