Detailed Steps for Cooking Ham and Squid Strips Braised Rice
Cut the ham, carrot, potato, and stringless beans into cubes
Put the shiitake mushrooms in a pot with water, bring to a boil, then soak until soft (the water used to soak the mushrooms can be saved for cooking rice)
Put the rice in the inner pot of the rice cooker and wash it
Add 290g of cold water (I forgot to wash the mushrooms when soaking, so the mushroom water cannot be used)
Put it in the rice cooker, press the cooking button, cook until it starts to smoke (about 8-10 minutes)
Add a little oil to a frying pan
Add the mushroom pieces, stir-fry on low heat until fragrant
Add the ham cubes, stir-fry to remove excess oil
Add peas, potato, carrot, and stringless beans, stir-fry
Add salt, mix well, and turn off the heat
When the rice cooker starts to smoke, pour the stir-fried ingredients in, cover, and continue cooking until the rice cooker switches to warm
Unplug the rice cooker, let it sit for 10 minutes, then add the squid strips, mix well
Enjoy the finished dish
