Steps for Cooking Hawthorn Candy Snowball
Prepare the ingredients.
Put water and 10g salt in a bowl, stir well, soak the hawthorn in the bowl for ten minutes, and then clean the surface.
Remove the stems and tails of the hawthorn and clean them.
Put 200g sugar and a little water in a pot. You can also use rock sugar instead of white sugar.
Stir well and boil over high heat until large bubbles appear.
When the large bubbles turn into small bubbles, add a tablespoon of white vinegar, turn off the heat immediately, and stir until it cools to room temperature.
Add the hawthorn fruit and stir-fry constantly. Do not put the hawthorn in a hot pot, as this will cause the juice to come out and the sugar snowball on the outside will not stick to it.
Keep stirring until the surface of the hawthorn turns white. This process should not be rushed and requires constant stirring for about 20 minutes to make the sugar sand stick to the hawthorn.
